7th -- Hi, everyone. Good work on your revision checklist. Please be sure that you complete yours and send it to your peers and to me BEFORE class on Thursday. Everyone will need those in order to make final changes.
8th -- You all have been working hard to organize your research information for your documentaries. At this point, you should be working on putting all the pieces together: interviews, notes, pictures, videos. Bring to school anything you need to work on the project. Docu-fest begins on Monday!
7 -- Hello, everyone. Good work with your introductions and conclusions. If you did not finish this work in class, it is your responsibility to finish before our next full class. You should have a complete first draft of your article with an introduction, all body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Please save your work in your Google Drive and submit it to our Work Submission Form 7.
8 -- Hi, everyone. Now you should have gained some more ideas for how you want to design your documentary using different shots, music, dialogue, and text. Your responsibility is to complete your Storyboard for your sections of the project. Please submit that work for our next full class to our Work Submission Form 8.
7 -- Hi, everyone! Great work in class today. Your outlines, mind maps, and flowcharts look great. The next step is to take your information and start typing it into paragraphs. We will start that tomrrow.
A special thanks goes to Isaac and Santiago J. for showing us their pull-ups!
8 -- Hello, everyone. Really good work in class today. At the end of today, everyone should have turned in your Citations practices 1 and 2. Also, you should have started your annotated bibliography prewrite in class. If you did not turn that in at the end, be sure to get it in before next class!
8A -- Hi, everyone. Today you did well on your citations practices. Remember, your second practice is using your sources for your documentary. Do not forget to include the expert interviews.
Interviews: Use your AM recess and lunch to get interviews. Also, if you need to interview someone during Indie Time Friday, let me know before the end of AM recess Thursday.
7A -- Nice work with your outline notes today. Using an outline will help you organize your article, so it can be the best.
8 -- Today you began your interviews. Remember, the questions you ask your expert and the questions you ask your peers should be different.
If you did not get an interview with someone, you still have two more class days this week. You can also interview people during recess, lunch, and Indie Time. If you want me to request you for Indie Time Friday, be sure to let me know by morning recess Thursday.
8 -- Hi, everyone. This is a reminder that you need to watch and complete the Interview Questions EDpuzzle video if you haven't already. You can find it here. Be sure you sign in. Also, if you did not turn in your first set of notes at the end of class, get that to me tomorrow. It is late with each day that passes!
7 -- Really great class today, everyone. You all did really well focusing on your notes. Be sure to finish the second source before class Friday.
7 -- Great work in your classes today, everyone. You all did well at identifying the different text features in your articles and sharing with the class. As you read about your 30-Day Challenge topic, think of different text features you can include in your article.
